Our integrated manufacturing facility spans 17 acres (70,000 sq meters) and we’re currently at 80% of our production capacity, so have the scope to produce up to 50,000 tons of stainless steel every year.

We are an AS-9100D aerospace certified stainless steel bar producer.

Hot Rolling

Our end-to-end manufacturing facilities incorporate a hot rolling mill, heat treatment facility, cold-finishing plant for bars, finishing plant for wires, and a comprehensive material testing laboratory.

Our flexible hot-rolling mills offer customised shapes and sections and optimum output. Our bars and wires are geometrically precise with optimum material properties.

Our combined cold-finishing line and brand-new, fully-automatic heat treatment facility from Germany is one of the most advanced plants of the time.

Heat Treatment Facility

These brand new furnaces are designed to operate at temperature uniformity of +/- 3 degrees Celsius. The sophisticatedly designed robotic arms ensure that oil quenching takes place WITHIN 40 seconds, meaning that our stainless steel bars offer some of the most consistent mechanical properties in the industry.

Heat Treatments available with Aamor Inox are:

  • Solution Annealing & Annealing
  • QT (Quenching & Tempering): QT 650, QT 700, QT 800, QT 900 etc
  • QDT (Quenching & Double Tempering), HT (Hardening & Tempering) – condition T
  • Precipitation Hardening & Ageing: HH1150, H1150M, H1050, H900 etc

Bars Cold-Finishing Facility

Hot rolled bars are loaded into the pre-straightening machine, peeled through a fully automatic peeling machine fitted with the most advanced laser gauge to control peeling size, straightened again, centreless ground, inspected for dimensions through the lasers, chamfered through a fully automatic double-ended chamfering machine, and finally weighed, bundled and strapped into the desired bundle weights.

The process is FULLY automated; once the hot rolled bars are loaded onto the pre-straightening machine, the material is not touched by an operator until it is perfectly cold finished at the end of the 120-meter-long cold finishing line. This is all done in line and automatically.

The cutting head of this new peeling machine runs with 8 cutting tool technology to ensure that the bars are peeled with utmost precision, both in terms of size tolerance as well as the out-of-roundness. We are seeing more consistent size and straightness.

Centreless Grinders (Fully Automatic)

Our other recent investment has been in brand new, highly advanced, fully automatic Centreless Grinding machines from Landgraf and MAIR (Italy). These grinding lines allow us to supply highly rounded bright bars with special ovality and out-of-roundness. These bars are available in h9, as well as in special tolerances like h6, e6, f7, h7, h8, f8 etc.

Precision Bars in all grades: 

  • Special tolerances: up to h6, +0.000/-0.0005”
  • Surface-finish: Ra 0.2 um, 12 RMS
  • Precision Straightness: 0.25mm / meter, 0.0010″ per foot T.I.R.
  • In Long Length Bars: up to 11.50 meters (up to 37.0 feet)

Wires Drawing Facility

Our wires manufacturing facility is well-equipped for producing high quality wires & welding consumables, having in-house end-to-end wire processing facilities for solution annealing, bright annealing (continuous strand annealing), dry and wet wire drawing, high speed drawing, medium wire pattern laying, ultra-sonic cleaners, wire spooling, precision layer winding, random winding, TIG wire straightening, and cutting facilities. The in-line strand-annealing heat treatment ensures consistent mechanical properties in wires for spring wires, welding wires and EPQ wires.

ERP System

Our latest D-365 ERP system from Microsoft, combined with very efficient B.I. (Business Intelligence) MIS systems gives us better control and visibility over our manufacturing processes. The ERP links all of our production sites, allowing for rapid exchange of information. This helps our team offer real-time updates to our customers around the world.
